Day Sailing

Day sailing is punctuated by the water colors, sky views and occasional sightings of dolphins, sea turtles, rays, gulls, anhingas, pelicans, and other sea life. Anchoring near one of the sandbars and just swimming and floating, are all great options. Hop back aboard and enjoy a nice meal prepared by Cap Rod.

Sunset/Evening Sailing

Captain Steven: “My personal favorite is departing just before sunset and sailing into the evening. The night scene is just as awesome as day sailing, but in a very different way. The starry sky, the night views of Miami's famed and constantly changing skyline, and the deeply peaceful vibe of watching the moon rise, the planes landing and taking off from MIA are all unforgettable. Night sailing is truly one of Miami's best-kept secrets.”

Sailing & Snorkeling

A few miles South East of Key Biscayne is Fowey Rock. Under the lighthouse lays a reef system, home to a diverse array of marine life, including colorful coral formations, sea turtles, and various species of fish. The area is part of the Biscayne National Park, which is dedicated to the preservation and protection of the natural and cultural resources of the region. It requires 5 hours and the right weather conditions.

Sailing & Paddle Board

Want to combine relaxation with a bit of workout. We'll bring paddle boards along and teach you some tricks if you are new to the sport. Paddleboarding is a great sport, like swimming it is very easy on your body and very complete as it makes you work your core and extremities simultaneously. More so, the shallow, clear water of the bay is the perfect setting and standing up on the board gives you the perfect perspective and viewpoint to observe the wildlife above and below the surface. Come back aboard and relax, or help us sail away!

Overnight Sailing, Snorkeling, Paddleboarding and More

Want to venture further away? Let's do it! South Florida offers wonders. What about opening sails early morning on a Saturday and spend the day sailing South. Arrive near Key Largo around 5PM, take a splash and have a wonderful meal prepared by Cap Rod, enjoy the sunset and maybe go to bed early. Wake up with the Sun, go for a paddle board ride in AngelFish Creek and then be picked up, have breakfast and go snorkel at primetime in some mesmerizing reefs. Then sail back to Miami and get a couple extra knots from the Gulfstream. Maybe catch a fish or two.

Check many bucket list boxes at one with an overnight sail. Sail for miles, snorkel wonderful reefs and shipwrecks, learn or improve your paddle boarding skills, hit the best dive bars in the Keys, enjoy great food and spend time along with our fun, authentic captains/sailors. Whether going to Key Largo on a 2 to 3 day sail to a 5 to 9 day adventure all the way to Key West, an unforgettable experience awaits you.
